Common Mistakes to Avoid When Planning Your Wedding
April 5, 2026
A packed dance-floor from the first track… and it didn’t stop all night.
Chelsie & Theo’s wedding at The Blazin Donkey Country Hotel in Kent was all about one thing. Aproper party. Working alongside DJ Jason Worrall, the plan was simple. Hit the dance-floor hard straight after the first dance and keep the energy high from start to finish.
From 8:30pm – 10:30pm, the evening set kicked off immediately after the first dance. No lull, no waiting around.
As soon as the music dropped, it was straight into dance-floor fillers, with live sax weaving through every big moment. The kind of start that gets everyone involved from the very beginning.
This was one of those sets where every track landed.
The music flowed through a mix of disco, funk, pop and party anthems, from classics like All Night Long, September and Celebration, through to singalong favourites like Valerie, Don’t Stop Me Now and Dancing Queen. Add in some modern party energy with tracks like Jubel, Show Me Love and Freed From Desire, and you’ve got a dancefloor that never really had a chance to empty.
It was the perfect balance of nostalgia and energy, exactly what you want for a wedding party.
This was one of those weddings where the dancefloor just never dipped.
Big singalongs, hands in the air moments and a crowd that was fully up for it from start to finish. The Sax/DJ combination meant we could build the energy throughout the night, lifting every chorus and keeping that momentum going.
If you’re planning your wedding and want a dance-floor that looks like this, full, high energy and unforgettable. I’d love to help create it.
Sometimes it’s not about easing into the party… it’s about starting it properly.
