Live Sax, Local Spirit and a Magical Christmas Shopping Evening

There’s something truly special about performing in your own community and for me, playing at the Christmas Shopping Evening at The Goat Shed was a real pinch-me moment.

The Goat Shed has always been one of my favourite local spots in Norfolk. Known for its brilliant local produce, welcoming atmosphere and of course the Goat’s, it’s a place that’s full of heart. So when Geoff got in touch, to invite me to play for their Christmas event, I couldn’t resist.

A Magical Evening of Music, Shopping and Cheer at The Goat Shed

The evening was everything you’d hope for from a festive community event. Warm, lively and full of that unmistakable Christmas buzz.

As guests explored shelves of festive treats and gifts, I filled the space with some of my favourite Christmas tunes. A mix of jazzy classics, smooth saxophone arrangements and a few crowd-pleasers to get everyone in the spirit. There’s nothing like seeing people smile, sing along or do a little dance (especially the little ones <3) while they shop that’s when you know the music’s doing its job!

The Launch of The G.O.A.T. Guide

Another highlight of the evening was the launch of The G.O.A.T. Guide, The Goat Shed’s very first festive magazine. It’s packed with Christmas tips, upcoming events, messages from the team and exclusive offers, a true celebration of all things local. Guests loved flicking through it between sips of hot chocolate and mulled cider (and yes, I grabbed my own copy too!).

Local Faces, Familiar Smiles

One of my favourite things about events like this is reconnecting with people. It was great to see so many other familiar faces from the local area, that’s what makes community events in Norfolk so special. The Goat Shed team, as always, were so welcoming and efficient, ensuring everything ran smoothly while keeping the festive energy flowing.

Wrapping Up the Night at The Goat Shed

By the end of the evening, I was definitely feeling in the Christmas mood.

A huge thank you again to Geoff, Nicole and the entire Goat Shed team for inviting me to be part of such a magical night. I can’t think of a better way to kick off the Christmas season!

If you haven’t visited The Goat Shed yet or if you’re looking for a little festive inspiration, make sure to pop by this winter. And if you’re planning your own Christmas event and fancy a touch of live sax to make it even more special, you know where to find me.

Thank you for coming along, you were loved by everyone, we had so many compliments. A great festive evening, you’ve officially earned G.O.A.T status!
