“Alex made made our special day into an unforgettable experience for us and our guests.”

This was Jane and Henk’s ruby wedding anniversary party. Having lived in Newmarket for all these years the choice of celebrating this milestone at the Jockey Club in Newmarket was highly appropriate. Steeped in horse racing history for 300 years it is a very special place where Jane and Henk wanted to celebrate ‘kindness to others’, by bringing together family and friends.

Reception in the Morning Room

As guests arrive they were able to take in the historic ambience of the room, and admire the gardens from the terrace whilst listening to the music. The songs selected by Jane and Henk reflected the theme of the day, with many songs from the 1980s many of which has a special meaning to the couple.

Dining Room

Following some emotional speeches in the Dining Room I played ‘You’re My Best Friend’ (Queen) as lunch was served. Guests were then able to enjoy their food and get to know each other whilst I then continued to play our favourite songs in the background.

After the main course I then moved it a gear (I knows this couple well!) and Jane & Henk and several of their guests took the opportunity for a dance amongst the tables. Wonderful! All the guests thoroughly enjoyed that and many reflected afterwards on the beautiful afternoon

If you’re planning your own event and fancy a touch of live sax to make it even more special, you know where to find me.

Alex has been an integral part of our celebratory events over the last few years and he was an absolute 'must' for our wedding anniversary party. The combination of the Jockey Club setting and Alex' music was absolutely perfect to make the everyone feel special. Alex' musical talent is unquestionable and his ability to transform the event into a celebratory party is second to none. Alex, thank you for making this into a special memory for our us, our family and our friends.
