Common Mistakes to Avoid When Planning Your Wedding
April 5, 2026
A packed dancefloor, a surprise dress change and Jubel to kick things off. This wedding was all about energy from the very start.
Danielle & Hayden celebrated their wedding at The Norfolk Mead Hotel, one of Norfolk’s most beautiful countryside venues. I was working alongside EA DJs, helping create a full evening party atmosphere from 8pm–10pm.
Not every wedding follows tradition and this was a perfect example of how doing things your own way can create something even more memorable.
Danielle had planned a surprise dress change and instead of a first dance, she made her entrance to: Jubel
The moment the track dropped and she walked in… instant energy. The room lit up, the dancefloor filled and the party started immediately.
From that point on, it didn’t slow down.
The brief was simple:
– Keep it high energy
– Keep people dancing
– Make it feel like a proper celebration
With the Sax/DJ combination, we were able to move seamlessly through house, party classics and dancefloor fillers, lifting the biggest moments of each track with live sax.
This one came through a recommendation from my good friends Andy and Katrina, which always makes it extra special.
Danielle & Hayden and their guests brought amazing energy from start to finish. The kind of crowd that just wants to celebrate.
If you’re planning your wedding at The Norfolk Mead (or anywhere in Norfolk) and want an evening that feels this fun, personal and full of energy, I’d love to chat.
Sometimes all it takes is the right song… and the right moment to start the party.
