Victoria first got in touch back in January 2025 with a brilliant question for her wedding:
“We already have a DJ… would you work alongside him?”
Short answer? Absolutely yes.
Longer answer? That question led to one of the most fun, personality-filled wedding parties of the summer.
Victoria & Matt planned their day completely their way. A ceremony at Norwich Castle Museum with 50 guests in the afternoon, followed by a relaxed but high-energy evening celebration at The Narthex on Unthank Road. No traditional sit-down meal, a hog roast, a photobooth, and one clear priority: a proper party.
From the outset, they knew exactly what they wanted.
“We love the saxophone and said we would always have one. So why not? It is our wedding!”
I joined forces with DJ Tony Waterfield for a Sax/DJ hybrid set from 9pm–11pm, dropping live sax over Tony’s tracks to keep the dancefloor buzzing from the first tune to the last.
Their playlist was packed with high-energy, feel-good classics and dancefloor fillers from big singalong moments to club-style remixes, exactly the kind of mix that works perfectly with live sax.
The result? A dancefloor that stayed full, guests of all ages getting involved, and that brilliant feeling when the party just flows.
Victoria & Matt’s wedding was a perfect example of doing things your own way, relaxed, personal and unapologetically fun. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of their celebration and to bring the sax energy to such a brilliant Norwich wedding party.
